s+b-burnt orange+ivory+chocolate

S+B used a fall-ish color palette of burnt orange, chocolate and ivory for their September wedding but didn't want it to feel like a "fall" wedding. I added shades of orange-peach, orange, bright orange, burnt orange-and textural elements to create their classic with a twist wedding flowers.

Congratulations S+B!

blue+green

This past Saturday was my first big wedding of the season. 35 straight hours awake, 34 centerpieces, 8 bouquets...I survived, barely! I got by with a little lot of help from my friends, and mom and husband:)

There were three different types of centerpieces(but somehow I only managed to get two of them). I'm hoping to snag some pro shots from the photographer. I love the shades of blues and greens with champagne colored linens.

Congratulations Mark and Lisa!

seconds, please

Just after the 4th of July holiday{how has it been a month ago!!} we set up shop at Second Sunday on Main. I swear it was 7000 degrees that Sunday but we managed to sell some bouquets and meet lots of new people! I took one of my favorite color palettes-red+white+blue-and took it a french country direction. Of course, I remembered my camera but forgot my SD card..FAIL..so all I have are cell phone pics. Boo! I was totally bummed because the sample bouquet I made was one of my favorites. Ever. I realize I say that about almost every bouquet I make. But, seriously, the colors, textures and sparkly red ribbon that used for the wrap made this one a winner!

The next Second Sunday on Main is August 12. head Downtown and check it out.

black+white

Black+White is a classic color combination. It's perfect for parties and weddings. Styling can go playful/casual, modern/contemporary and of course full on glamour/black tie.

Some leftovers from this weekend led me to create my own take on black+white. The result...one of my favorite bouquets...ever!

The centerpiece features ranunculus, anemones, and lisianthus with scabiosa pods, veronica, queen anne's lace and dusty miller to provide some texture in a sweet little mercury glass bowl .

And a little inspiration for your own black+white fete...

sunflowers

Saturday I got to work with the wonderful team from eat well celebrations and feasts. Chef Renee Schuler and her staff work hard to create events that are a feast for all of the senses. Like, seriously, they are the shizz!

Saturday night was a birthday party. The birthday girl loves sunflowers! We used an assortment of yellow and white with some organic elements thrown in. I hope she enjoyed them:)

special orders

While we are not a full service retail florist, you can contact us to place a special order.

Using seasonal flowers and unusual containers(Hello, gold mason jar!") we will create something a little different and dare I say...whimsical;) I always get the price question. To be honest I like to talk to customers and get details about the occasion and the recipient and then price out what you want. I will say that arrangements typically start around $60 plus delivery. The arrangement featured above is $50.

Delivery is available in the greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

So, send us an email and place your order!
